Review:

One of the authors of “Neonatology At A Glance” is Tom Lissauer (the bloke who wrote “Illustrated Textbook Of Paediatrics” [aka. the ‘Sunflower Book’] ) and so it is well-written throughout and appropriately detailed for the medical student. This book is certainly a useful aid to neonatology week, easily catering for all the topics covered. Chapters are well divided up into sub-sections, making the information easy to find. A good variety of useful diagrams and clear colour photographs of key clinical signs accompany the text throughout.

Unfortunately, the plentiful colour photos and diagrams mean that this book isn’t cheap; it’s more expensive than most of the other “At A Glance” books. The other problem is that neonatal week is just that – one week. You can’t really justify sending 25 quid on a book for one week. I’d get this one from the library unless you're feeling flush.
