Review:

I was given this book for free on my psychiatry placement - always a bonus. Being free will naturally make it difficult to criticise but I'll try anyway.

This book isn't really aimed at medical students. The aim of this guide is to further educate patients and carers; something that it would do very well. Is it totally useless then? No.

As well as serving as a good introduction to the subject, this book gives you some useful phrases and concepts that you can use to explain things to patients. I was also given my copy for free by my consultant so maybe you too could do the same!
