The Diaphragm:

This is a barrier contraceptive.
The diaphragm works by stopping sperm reaching the egg.
The rubber diaphragm is placed inside the vagina, covering the cervix.
Spermicide gel (a chemical that kills sperm) must also be used.

Advantages:
Can be put in when it's convenient for you
There are different sizes
No major side effects

The diaphragm helps prevent pregnancy but NOT most STIs
