HIV & AIDS:

If you think you might have HIV, it is very important to get a doctor or nurse to discuss it with you.The doctor or nurse will normally do a blood test to check if you have HIV but should explain all about this before you decide if you want one

The test can't check the last 3 months because it takes 3 months after for there to be enough HIV in the body to see on the test (this is called "the window period")

There is no total cure for HIV

However, there are lots of drugs that can be taken together to help to slow the spread of HIV and it's progression to AIDS
